Our 360° lens automatically focuses on users as they speak, while 8 omnidirectional microphones locate the presenter and speakers stream exceptionally clear audio.

If you’ve used a webcam before, you know how to use the Meeting Owl. First, plug the power adapter into an outlet. Then, plug the USB into your computer (either a laptop or in-room computer), open up your video conferencing software of choice, and select the Meeting Owl as your mic, camera and speakers.
There are no downloads, and no software to install. It just works.
Is my table or room size a fit for the Meeting Owl?
The Meeting Owl was specifically designed for huddle spaces, of approximately 2-12 people in the room. However, what’s more important than the size of the room is how close people can sit to the Meeting Owl.
We suggest sitting within 6’ of the Owl for optimal video view, and 12’ of the Owl for optimal audio. The audio is exceptional. If you sit further than 6 feet from the Meeting Owl, it won’t hurt anything. People will look a bit smaller in the view.
What video conferencing software does the Meeting Owl work with?
Is there a free trial? Can I get a demo unit?
There is a 30-day return policy. If the Meeting Owl turns out not to be a fit, you can return it no problem.
There is no free trial, but the 30 days have worked well for customers as a means to test the Owl and confirm it’s a fit.
What is the resolution of the Meeting Owl’s output?
The Meeting Owl’s output resolution is 720p. If you’re looking to compare the Meeting Owl to a 4K camera on resolution alone, the other camera will win each time. However, our goal was to optimize for experience above anything else. We wanted to create a product that creates more engaging meetings and helps remote folks feel like they’re sitting in the room with the team.
If you’d like more context, we use a 16 megapixels camera to capture a fish eye image of the room. That image has a mega native resolution of 1780x1780. We then process that to produce the 360· panorama and stage, which together are 1280x720.
Can I use my own mic or speakers with the Meeting Owl?
Why does it connect to wifi? Do I need to connect the Meeting Owl to wifi to use it?
You don’t need to connect the Meeting Owl to wifi to use it it. (However, obviously the computer the Meeting Owl is connected to needs an internet connection in order to host the meeting.)
With that, you will likely want to connect your Meeting Owl to wifi in order to get some important features. For example, Owl Labs sends new features and improvements to your Meeting Owl over wifi so your Owl gets even smarter over time. (We will alert you if a new update is coming.)
We also collect meeting analytics (like number of meetings, number of people in the room, etc.) that we report back to you via the Meeting Owl mobile app. In order to get these features, your Owl needs to be on wifi.
Can I secure the Meeting Owl to a table?
How much does the Meeting Owl cost, and where can I buy it?
Can I change the screen layout or control what the Meeting Owl looks at?
We know video conferencing already can be quite complicated, so ease of use is very important to us. We want you to be able to ignore the technology vs. play with settings and distract from the conversation. With that, there are no options to customize the video view or remove the panorama. We designed the panorama to give context to the room, and the view to make it easy to follow the discussion.
However, for those few times in which you might want to keep the camera on a certain part of the room, say a whiteboard or presentation screen, you can use camera lock via the Meeting Owl mobile app to lock the view.
